Can't Get the Game to Launch

Hey Guys,

I am new to the forum, and I am hoping you can help me! I bought this game a few days ago, and I've been trying to play it since with no luck. I seem to constantly get one of two errors. Either the game will crash immediately with the following pop-up



Or the game will show the splash screen then just sit indefinitely on a black window unless I try to alt+enter, which will cause the error above, or I "X" out of the game.
