I'm currently working on simple engine tuning. I noticed that the amount of torque I inputted in engine jbeam file doesn't match the in game values, e.g.
I input these numbers in the engine jbeam:
1000 RPM - 300 Nm
1500 RPM - 350 Nm
What is shown in game is less than that, something like
1000 RPM - 275 Nm
1500 RPM - 325 Nm
Figures above are just for illustration. I read somewhere on the forums that BeamNG accounts for internal parts friction, engine braking, etc. so the net torque...
