USGS Earth Explorer?

I'm trying to get into map making, but I'm awful at world editor

Has anyone ever used this website for heightmaps?

I think real world data like this is mostly used for city building games (well, in modding anyways,) but I thought, "why not try and make it work in BeamNG?"

I'm interested to hear if anyone has used real world data before for any game, or has thought about it, or has even been on these web pages that offer you the free...
