How can I make a BeamNG map?

I've always wanted to create a BeamNG map, but have no idea where to start, would love some tips and whatnot, to start making a map.

Laguan bridge layer.
1949 Chevy 1300 half ton truck.
HotWheels style track like the one from the very track pack in wreckfest.
HotWheels vehicles.
WW2 Sherman tank with working guns.
WW2 B-17 bomber.
WW2 Spitfire.
Warship with working guns.
Aircraft carrier.
Submarine(torpedoes?).

I have seen alot of comments about cars and pickups and even tire models and the like. Even tank tracks. But what about the bigger things? Is there also plans to adding hydralics, hookpoints and all that? Is any truck with a trailer in the plans or progress?

so this i my first beamng mod im going to be working on although i have made mods for other games but i thought id give beamng a go, havent seen anyone else do it yet so i thought id make one
very early at the moment but id thought id post it and see for suggestions and or ideas for it.

gonna be rebranded as a cherrier 206 or other model name (if anyone have any suggestions for a model name tell me and ill consider it :p)

I used to have many screenshots but now I cant seem to find them. There is a screenshots folder in Documents\BeamNG.drive but that is empty. Is there a place that they could have been moved to?

Have you seen that wrecked Grand Marshal in the files and wondered, "what would that be used for"? I wondered that too, so I decided to answer that question by adding a Junkyard.


This is only an addition so it overwrites the default map.

Drifting is damn near impossible

Ok. I have a lot of experience with cars and thrashing them around. I know for a fact that drifting in real life isn't this hard. Literally with any RWD vehicle, I cannot drift on pavement, only dirt. Drifting on dirt is kind of wussy so I want to on pavement. Is there anyone who knows the secret to drifting on here? I've tried tuning and can't get it right. The only cars I can manage to hold a drift with are AWD ones which are also to easy and wussy to drift with. I have a g25 wheel but...

I tried the multiseat option, no matter what I do, PLAYER1 always using keyboard, mouse AND controller too. I can't get to switch the controller to either player, it shows (gamepad0, keyboard0, mouse0), so basically if i use keyboard, player1 moves, if i use controller, player 1 moves.. Please help.

Hello to everyone!
Please fix most of the sailboats in the ports of Italy map, them are completely wrong! Mast and boom of the mainsails are in the opposite direction.
Maybe it's a detail but the game is so accurate so that's a pity to see them in this way, and also that hurt my heart!

Thank you really much for the game, i love it and thanks for the new Vivace rally version, it's a pleasure to drive it!

I noticed that the tachometer on the ETK vehicles includes the auto-stop indicator found on another certain three-lettered German car company's cars. I decided to try and implement the actual technology behind this in BeamNG. A demo can be seen here:



It follows basically the same restrictions as most real-life cars with auto-stop: the engine must be warmed up, the gear shifter must be in Drive, the vehicle must be completely stopped, and the driver's foot...
